Barcelona coach speaks up after chatting with Lionel Messi and Eric Abidal

Barcelona coach, Quique Setien, spoke up after chatting with El Barca captain, Lionel Messi, and Sports Director Eric Abidal, who was involved in the conflict.

However, Barcelona is actually being hit by an internal problem.

Eric Abidal's statement blaming a number of Barcelona players for the sacking of coach Ernesto Valverde received a response from Lionel Messi.

The conflict between Abidal and Messi became the topic of question when Quique Setien underwent a press conference ahead of the match against Athletic Bilbao.

Setien officially becomes Barcelona coach as of January 13, 2020.

El Barca immediately appointed Setien moments after firing Valverde.

"This incident did not affect me," Quique said.

"We talked about this for a while, then we discussed the match, how important the match was."

"I'm interested in football, that's what interests me."

"Everything else, I can't control it, so I don't want to be tired of worrying about it," Setian added.
